New Board Position - Member Resources Coordinator

The Member Resources Coordinator will be responsible for addressing member needs from a strategic point of view and supporting mission-centered activities. Additionally, there is a lot of room for the new board member to focus on activities they are passionate about.

In compliance with our bylaws board members must by voted in by teacher members. To be eligible, candidates must be Level 1 certified and be (or become) active members of the Kundalini Collective. Appointments are for a two-year term. 


Primary responsibilities of Member Resources Coordinator

  • Create a smooth experience for Teacher Members and their students to get what they need from the Kundalini Collective; Coordinate with Teacher Members to access member resources

  • Be attentive to website layout, class and event information, and social media and how they represent teachers and the Kundalini Collective

  • Create opportunities for or otherwise support Teacher Members in providing rich learning experiences for their students

  • Support the Kundalini Collective in meeting mission-centered outcomes (example: anti-racism work, addressing Yogi Bhajan revelations, awareness of parent organization initiatives; create a resources page on the website, per these items)


Potential duties include

  • Maintain awareness of KC resources and ways they can be used

  • Gather feedback from members

  • Consider enhancements or new ways to support teachers

  • Maintain awareness of kundalini yoga in the news

  • Work with our Administrative Assistant to complete tasks as needed
