Sat Purkh Khalsa
A KRI Certified Level Three Kundalini Yoga Teacher as well as Lead Trainer in the Aquarian Trainer Academy, Sat Purkh is known for her work in Sound & Mantra as well as Humanology and the Women's Teachings; in 2008 she authored Everyday Grace: The Art of Being a Woman, an introduction to the Women's Teachings of Yogi Bhajan.
Sat Purkh joined the Kundalini Research Institute in 2006 and served as the Creative Director until the fall of 2013. A member of the Teacher Training Executive Council, she helped develop the Three Levels of Teacher Training in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®, and also served on the KRI Board of Directors from 2014-2017.
She has nine albums of sacred music, Nectar of the Name, Beautiful Day: The Aquarian Sadhana, Queen Be: The Goddess Within, Love & Other Miracles, One: Love, Life, Light, The Pearl: Maiden, Mother, Crone, The Guru Within, Across the World Ocean, and The Yogi . She lives with her husband and their menagerie of animals, and is always at work on her next album of sacred music.
Level 1 Professional Trainer, Level 2 Intern, began her study of the body and wellness with extensive training in dance from the age of 3. Nirmal began to explore the practice of yoga in early 2001. After taking her first Kundalini Yoga class she felt deeply at home with the practice. She currently teaches Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is a Level 2 Certified Teacher (500-hr) with the Kundalini Research Institute and a Professional Trainer of Kundalini Yoga with the Aquarian Trainer Academy. Nirmal is the author of Enlightened Bodies: Exploring Physical and Subtle Human Anatomy and a medical student at the University of Minnesota.
All that is necessary to awaken to yourself as the radiant emptiness of spirit is to stop seeking something more or better or different, and to turn your attention inward to the awake silence that you are.
